About the artist
Stéphane Pannetier Le Hénaff is a figurative painter who was born in Avranches, and now resides in Fleury-sur-Orne, France. He specializes in creating and commissioning portraits from live models, graphite drawings and Hahnemühle FINE ART PRINT. A former student of the École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, the Barcelona Academy of Art, and the German Academy of Art, he has been exhibiting his work since 2015. He has been affiliated with Urssaf since 2019 and has been represented by TOOLIP ART GALLERY since February 2025. His current projects include two series: one titled “Wild Flowers,” which utilizes graphite and inks, and the other, “The Saga of Pandora’s Box,” which explores spherical perspective with transitional tonality in oil.

To Stéphane Pannetier Le Hénaff, the Pandora’s Box Saga and Wild Flowers are frequent subjects. The Pandora’s Box Saga is a painting group as matriochka composed of twelve paintings, each interpreting a scourge of humanity, each stacking in the next, the more important the scourge, the smaller the format of the work, conversely the lighter the scourge, the larger the format of the painting and encompassing the previous scourges. This series therefore ends with “Hope” opus 1, 30 x 40 cm, encompassed by the following “Death” opus 2 56 x 56 cm, encompassed by “Madness” 61 x 85 cm, until the last scourge which is “Vice” 4 x 7 m. The subject is the subject, for Stéphane everything is however a way of painting nature, nature being in movement. He tends to paint a moment that flows, hence the use of spherical perspective with transient tonality, which synthesizes a moment by the superposition of a multiple point of view proportional to a subject in movement, from photography, scan, or even from a live model in a equal distance relationship.

The Wild Flowers Saga on the other hand relies on a poetic femininity in a semi-figurative way with graphite drawing and watercolor inks with classical perspective.

Stéphane Pannetier Le Hénaff est un peintre figuratif né à Avranches et réside maintenant à Fleury-sur-Orne, en France. Il est spécialisé dans la création et la commande de portraits à partir de modèles vivants, de dessins au graphite et de Hahnemühle FINE ART PRINT. Ancien étudiant de l'École des Beaux-Arts de Montréal, de l'Académie d'art de Barcelone et de l'Académie allemande d'art, il expose son travail depuis 2015. Il est affilié à l'Urssaf depuis 2019 et est représenté par TOOLIP ART GALLERY depuis février 2025. Ses projets actuels comprennent deux séries : l'une intitulée "Fleurs sauvages", qui utilise du graphite et des encres, et l'autre, "La Saga de la boite de Pandore", qui explore une perspective sphérique avec une tonalité de transition dans l'huile.

Pour Stéphane Pannetier Le Hénaff, la saga de la boîte de Pandore et les fleurs sauvages sont des sujets fréquents. La saga de la boîte de Pandore est un groupe de peinture comme matriochka composé de douze peintures, chacune interprétant un fléau de l'humanité, chacune s'empilant dans l'autre, plus le fléau est important, plus le format de l'œuvre est petit, inversement, plus le fléau est léger, plus le format de la peinture est grand et englobant les fléaux précédents. Cette série se termine donc par "Hope" opus 1, 30 x 40 cm, englobé par le suivant "Death" opus 2 56 x 56 cm, englobé par "Madness" 61 x 85 cm, jusqu'au dernier fléau qui est "Vice" 4 x 7 m. Le sujet est le sujet, pour Stéphane tout est cependant une façon de peindre la nature, la nature étant en mouvement. Il a tendance à peindre un moment qui coule, d'où l'utilisation d'une perspective sphérique avec une tonalité transitoire, qui synthétise un moment par la superposition d'un point de vue multiple proportionnel à un sujet en mouvement, à partir de la photographie, du scan ou même d'un modèle vivant dans une relation de distance égale.

La saga des fleurs sauvages, d'autre part, repose sur une féminité poétique d'une manière semi-figurative avec des dessins au graphite et des encres à l'aquarelle avec une perspective classique.
